Wrongful Death Attorneys

Although money can’t replace a loved one who lost his or her life prematurely, it can help to alleviate some of the strains and stresses caused by the sudden loss.
A Wrongful Death Action is simply a civil action for the monetary loss of a life, and its purpose is to make the defendant(s) pay for the “full value of the life of the decedent.” This action does not replace or negate the criminal charges filed by the State.
If you’ve lost a loved one due to the negligence of others, you are entitled to monetary compensation. Call McFarland & McFarland. We have successfully settled wrongful death cases, and we will file suit on your behalf.

However, action was taken under an ancient Georgia law that allows compensation to a parent for serving alcohol to their underage minor. Attorney Bob McFarland negotiated a $350,000.00 settlement while a motion for summary judgment was pending in the trial court.
